Q: Is everything made in the US?

A: Yes, everything is made in the United States by one person- Park Swan! Park designs and makes everything by hand.

Q: Where are you located?

A: Currently, we live in and work in midcoast Maine.

Q: What type of wood do you use? How do you get your wood?

A: We use all domestic hardwood, and at times pieces of scrap exotic woods. We only buy sustainable wood that is farmed, and never buy imported or endangered wood. Our wood comes from local lumber suppliers.

Q: When will my order be ready?

A: Park makes everything to order, so our timeline can vary. You can find our current lead-time at the top of our page. Our turn around is typically between two weeks upon receiving your order..

Q: This if a gift, and I need it ready by a certain date.

A: Please let us know via EMAIL before you make your order, so we can verify that we can work in your timeline. If it is in the notes at the order page, we may not see it. Please email blackswanhandmade(at)gmail(.com)

Q: I have a question about my order. How can I contact you?

A: You can contact us through our contact form or send us an email directly to blackswanhandmade(at)gmail.com. There are only two of us working at Black Swan Handmade, but we try to be as timely as we can with a response.

Q: I can’t find your phone number. Where is it?

A: We are literally a husband and wife team, and do everything from marketing-making-packaging-and answering all emails ourselves. Due to time saving efforts- we try to answer all inquiries by email. If you have extenuating circumstances please send us an email, and if we can not work it out there- we will be happy to give you a call.

Q: Do you wholesale?

A: Yes! We love wholesaling. This makes our business viable, and we love working with unique shops. Our wholesale prices are 50% of the retail prices in our shop.

Q: Do you take custom orders?

A: Yes! We love taking custom orders. Park makes furniture, custom kitchenware, bowls, and has even made a kid's rocking unicorn! Send us a message on our contact page and we'll get right back to you. We love hearing from our customers and working on unique projects!
