These two oyster knife prototypes are inspired by my great-grandmother’s well-used oyster knife, with a few small tweaks. The blades are symmetrically hammered and taper back from the tip with a slight upwards curve.

The larger of the two is forged from stainless steel bar, and is 7” long with a 2” x .6” blade.

The smaller knife is forged from mild steel, so it should be hand washed and kept dry when not in use. 6.25” long with a 2” x .5” blade.
