Here are three unique reforged slotted spoons in stainless steel with new brass handles. Making a handle that is playful but matches the character of the original cutouts can be a fun challenge.

The brass we use for handle forging is “naval” 464 brass, which has been used for a long time on ship parts due to its corrosion resistance. It can be difficult to forge, but shines and shows hammer marks beautifully.

Our Reforged series are spoons which began life as a much different spoon. I occasionally dig through utensils at thrift stores or yard sales and purchase spoons that are unattractive but are made of thick enough stainless steel to have potential as a different utensil.
