Two very different takes on a very similar bowl design in reforged stainless steel!

The left spoon was carefully reforged with a dimpled texture, using a time-consuming technique where the steel must be heated many times and forged with a small rounding hammer. Matched with our classic bronze forged handle shape in an extra-long length. 12.5” long.

The right spoon is also reforged and shows a unique variety of colors from the forging process, and is matched with a sleek stainless handle using two brass rivets. 12” long.

Our Reforged series are spoons that began life as a much different spoon. I occasionally dig through utensils at thrift stores or yard sales and purchase spoons that are unattractive but are made of thick enough stainless steel to have potential as a different utensil. The steel is heated and “reforged,” altering the shape, texture, and bringing out the beauty and colors in forged steel while retaining the stainless quality of the original spoon.
