This unique short serving spoon is an experiment using thin brass rod for a loop handle. The process of forging brass is difficult, but the resulting contrast is beautiful against a blackened stainless steel bowl and copper rivets.

This is also spoon #015 in our daily spoon series, and is stamped “015” in the edge of the bowl. The Daily Spoon project is a new undertaking where we create a unique new utensil every single day in an effort to push creativity and explore new ideas. Each spoon is numbered in the order of the day they were created, so each piece is completely unique.
