A lot of people have requested full copper utensils so here are some prototypes. These pieces are entirely pure copper, from the handle and bowl down to the rivets. The thick copper bar used for these handles takes a lot more effort to forge than most metals due to the heat conductivity. It must be heated and cooled between every forging and can’t be held with tongs without marring the metal quite a lot.

Copper is wonderful as a utensil material and will show patina quickly that develops more over time. It can also be polished back to shiny and new at any point. Not for use with acidic foods such as tomato sauces or vinegar.

The scoop is 11” long and 2.25” wide.

The circular serving spoon is 11.5” long with a shallow and wide 3.5” bowl.
